Amidst an emotional Township Committee meeting on December 12th, Committeeman Doug Tomson made his final motion to adjourn, his last motion as a Hillsborough Township Committeeman.
From 2012 to 2017, Committeeman Tomson served on the Hillsborough Township Committee for four consecutive terms. Tomson served as mayor in 2014, 2015, and 2020, as well as deputy mayor in 2013, 2018, and 2019.
Throughout the years, Committeeman Tomson has served as a liaison to departments and committees, including the Capital Planning Committee, Recreation, Police, Economic and Business Development, Planning Board, Health, and Department of Public Works.
In appreciation for his service to Hillsborough Township, Hillsborough Township wished Committeeman Douglas Tomson the best in his future endeavors.
