Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) Somerset, an RWJBarnabas Health hospital, welcomed Jayden Mateo Ventura Dehesa as Somerset County’s first baby of 2026 at 9:56 a.m. today.

The baby boy was born to Alondra Lizzeth Dehesa Flores and Isrrael Ventura Cortes of Raritan.
