We work to promote, protect, and preserve the historic heritage, character, and architecture of the Borough of Somerville. Our goal is to increase public awareness of this heritage at the local, regional, state, and national levels, and to develop resources that highlight the Borough’s history.

We provide informed, consensus-based recommendations on the conservation of historical artifacts, structures, and other properties. Our focus is to enhance the quality of life for residents and to preserve the Borough’s historic character while supporting appropriate growth and change.
