Kenneth Cornell Pickleball Courts Reopen at Vander Veer Park in Somerville

The Borough of Somerville has officially reopened the Kenneth Cornell Pickleball Courts at Henry P. Vander Veer Memorial Park, welcoming players back just in time for spring. 

The courts have undergone a full refresh, including new surfacing, upgraded nets, improved fencing, and added windscreens to enhance play for athletes of all levels.

The project reflects Somerville’s continued investment in recreation and community wellness, offering residents a vibrant, updated space to stay active and connect with neighbors.
