Riding the Way to Confidence - RideWise Helps Students Learn to Use Local Transportation

RideWise recently worked with the Special Needs students from North Plainfield High School to provide travel training instruction on two different buses, from North Plainfield to Somerville. Students learned how to use public transportation to get to Somerville where they participated in shopping, ordering a meal, and pedestrian safety. Learning how to navigate using the public bus network will enable many students to have jobs and participate in other opportunities that come their way.
