Somerville Police Are Honored for their Hard Work for Somerville Shoppers and Visitors

The Somerville Police Department’s Community Policing Unit: Officer Nicole De Biase, Officer Vittorio Spadea and Officer Ryan Miller were recognized by the Downtown Somerville New Jersey for their first annual Downtown Defender Award. Their increased presence in the Downtown area as well as their Community involvement has helped transform the Main Street of Somerville into a safer area where business owners have taken notice and have not only commended these officers but the entire Police Department. 

We want to also recognize the tremendous job they have done in the town as well as taking the time to speak with the businesses and try to address any issue they may have.
