Raritan Library announced that it has joined the MAIN Library Alliance. The library patrons will benefit from new catalogs and more digital content from other libraries in the alliance as well. The Main Library Alliance is a network of 50 public libraries located in Hunterdon, Morris, Somerset, Union, and Warren Counties. This is a separate library system - NOT the Somerset County Library of New Jersey.
If the materials are not there in the Raritan library, the library will retrieve them from another Main Alliance branch. The Raritan Library will be connected to other branch locations in the alliance making it easier to find more books and content that patrons enjoy.
Additionally, patrons will be able to access upcoming eBooks and apps through this program. In February, more details will be released on the benefits of being in MAIN.
