Raritan Borough Police Department - What Happened Over the Weekend

Weekend Police Blotter:

On May 17th, 2024 at 6:35 p.m., Christopher Browne, 37, of Somerville was arrested on numerous outstanding warrants at our police headquarters. Browne was unable to post bail on the warrants and his custody was transferred to the Readington Township Police Department.

On May 18th, 2024 at 12:53 a.m., patrol officers observed fresh graffiti on a wall underneath the transit bridge on Route 206 at Sherman Ave. While conducting their investigation, officers also observed the same fresh paint and tag painted on the Walgreens on Route 206. We would like to thank the mischievous suspect for tagging their social media account on the wall. An investigation is ongoing.

On May 18th, 2024 at 2:56 p.m., patrol officers were dispatched to the Auto Zone on Route 206 for found drugs. On scene, an employee turned over a black bag that contained numerous wax folds of suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia. An investigation is ongoing.

On May 19th, 2024 at 1:30 a.m., Kyle Richards, 25, of Metuchen, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at the intersection of West End Avenue and Mountain Avenue. Richards was issued numerous motor vehicle summonses and released to a responsible party.

On May 19th, 2024 at 10:26 p.m., Ismael Villalobos, 47, of Raritan, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at the intersection of Bell Avenue and Cornell Boulevard. Villalobos was issued numerous motor vehicle summonses and released to a responsible party.
