Make sure you know the Senior Freeze - Propery Tax Reimbursement
Filing for NJ tax credits just got easier. Thousands in NJ fail to claim substantial tax credit. There is now a single combined application for the Senior Freeze (Property Tax Reimbursement), ANCHOR, and Stay NJ programs for residents 65 and over, or those collecting Social Security Disability Benefits.
The Treasury will determine eligibility and send a letter with the specific benefits applicants qualify for. The filing deadline is October 31. You can access the NJ Treasury's toolkit here.
