Justin Salmeron Named SCVTHS Student of the Month for March 2025

BRIDGEWATER – Justin Salmeron of Bound Brook, a Freshman in the Graphic Communications program at Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School (SCVTHS), has been selected as Student of the Month for March 2025. Justin is the son of Carlos and Cecilia Salmeron.

Justin’s teachers have been impressed not only by his academic achievement but also by his thoughtfulness. “Without prompting, Justin has handed out his classmate's work materials for class, helps his peers by offering feedback on their work, and holds the door open for both the teacher and his peers,” said English instructor Lauren Heuer, adding “These small gestures show not only his politeness but also a quiet type of leadership that many other people might overlook. He is such a great addition to our class!”

As a freshman, Justin is still exploring opportunities at SCVTHS. He is a member of the Yearbook Club and is helping to put together this year’s edition. Outside of school, he enjoys playing video games with friends, spending time with his family, and playing with his dogs.

Looking to the future, Justin is hoping to become an architect, and lists Rutgers University as the school he’d like to attend.
