Parents Get a Holiday Break While Kids Explore Science at 4-H Science-sational Day
As the holiday season approaches, parents often find themselves juggling shopping lists, to-do notes, and last-minute errands. The Somerset County 4-H program is offering a creative way to make things a little easier this December — while also giving kids a chance to dive into the world of science.
On Saturday, December 13, from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, the 4-H Center in Bridgewater will host Science-sational Day, a day of hands-on workshops built around an Air & Space theme. The event is open to students in grades K through 6 and promises a mix of education, fun, and discovery.
While children take part in interactive experiments and science activities, parents can use the time to get a head start on holiday preparations — or simply enjoy a quiet moment during one of the busiest times of year.
Registration is open through November 20, with a fee of $25 for 4-H members and $35 for non-members.
