From The Raritan Borough Police:
The Raritan Borough Police Department announced the retirement of Administrative Assistant, Anna Marusiak, after 28 years of service to the Borough of Raritan.
Anna started her career with the Raritan Borough Police Department in 1994 as a Public Safety Telecommunicator. After several years of dispatching Raritan’s Finest, she became the department’s Administrative Assistant. Anna skillfully carried out many daily tasks within the department and became an expert in her profession.
Some of the important functions Anna performed on a daily basis included OPRA request processing, attorney discovery fulfillment, expungement requests, motor vehicle accident processing, and UCR (Uniform Crime Reporting).
Anna also assisted thousands of members of the public over the years in relation to record requests or answering any questions they may have had prior to speaking with a Police Officer. Anna was long considered to be one of the hardest working and most detail-oriented employees in the borough. Anna was part of our family for many years and she will remain part of our family as she moves on to the next exciting chapter in her life. Anna, we thank you for all of your contributions to the Borough of Raritan and its citizens. We wish you nothing but the best as you start your retirement!
