SOMERVILLE, NJ – Daytime milling and paving on Main Street (CR533) in Manville will cause lane closures starting Monday, Nov. 13. Main Street will only be open in one direction between Dukes Parkway and Kyle Street during construction, which is expected to be completed by Friday, Nov. 17. Roadwork will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Detours will be posted. The public is encouraged to plan alternate routes during this period.
Proposed Lane Closure Schedule:
Nov. 13 – Southbound lane will be closed for milling;
Nov. 14 – Northbound lane will be closed for milling;
Nov. 15 – Southbound lane will be closed for paving;
Nov. 16 – Northbound lane will be closed for paving.
All side streets to Main Street will have a hard closure to ensure that no traffic can enter Main Street. An update with more information about the project and detour routes is posted on Somerset County’s website at https://bit.ly/3TqEjtk.
