ICYMI - Raritan Borough Announces Arrest Warrant for Jaqwe Bogar, 29, of East Orange

The Raritan Borough Police Department announced that an arrest warrant has been issued for Jaqwe Bogar, 29, of East Orange, who has been charged with Theft, Credit Card Fraud and Identity Theft. 

On August 19th, 2024 Raritan Officers responded to the Retro Fitness on Route 206 for a theft of a wallet. The wallet contained numerous credit cards which were used at various businesses in Raritan, Somerville, Hillsborough and Elizabeth. A majority of the items purchased at the various locations included cigarettes, alcohol and gift cards in an amount totaling approximately $600.00

Through various investigative means and with the assistance of the Brielle, Union Township and Hanover Township Police Departments, Bogar was positively identified as the suspect. It was also learned that Bogar has numerous outstanding arrest warrants for similar incidents throughout the state.
