The State 4-H Office will be hiring a temporary, part time, administrative assistant to support club records management. Position details: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Unit Administrator/Specialist for the State Office of the 4-H Program. This position will report to the Chair of the Department of 4-H Youth Development.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:• Works with county 4-H faculty and staff to ensure 4-H club management requirements are met and recorded for existing (approx. 450 individual clubs) and new clubs (approx. 50 per year).• Responsible for managing 4-H requirements – including club records (USDA-NIFA club charters, financial records, EIN filings, IRS filings, etc.), volunteer training records (Protection of Minors, annual training, etc.) and updating club management materials and websites.• Ensures 4-H club compliance with RU and federal tax regulations.• Handles state and national event registrations.
