ONE-STOP CAREER TRAINING CENTER EXPANDS HOURS FOR JOB-SEEKERS

SOMERVILLE, NJ –The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Center, located on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville, is extending its hours for Hunterdon and Somerset County’s in-person and walk-in job seekers who need career assistance. Beginning Sept. 26, the career center will be open on Mondays from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. except on county holidays, regular office hours will continue from Tuesdays to Fridays, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Throughout the pandemic, services at the Training Center were available virtually. Currently, services are hybrid and offered both virtually and in-person.

“Staff will be available for walk-ins, phone calls, appointments, and other services, though we encourage job seekers to make an appointment so we can ensure that Career Navigator staff is available,” said Christopher Peake Operator and Manager of Direct Services, Greater Raritan’s One-Stop Career Training Center.

Other Locations Open for Career Resources
Appointments, assistance by phone, and virtual services are available Mondays to Fridays at the following locations:

Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Center, located at 6 Gauntt Place, Flemington, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board (GRWDB), located on the third floor of the building at 27 Warren St. in Somerville, and is open to walk-ins and by appointment from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
New Jersey Employment Services is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and has computers available for public use by appointment.
The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services, located at 75 Veterans Memorial Drive in Somerville, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
