ICYMI: The State Park Service - Stags Trail with JORBA -New Jersey’s first adaptive mountain bike trail
On November 15, the State Park Service opened New Jersey’s first adaptive mountain bike trail – the Stags Trail. Located in the Long Pond Ironworks Multi Use Trail Area, the Stags Trail is suitable for beginner to intermediate adaptive riders, mountain bikers and hikers. The trail offers a sustainable maintained route with limited turns and a overall grade of 7%. The Stags Trail was created through a cooperative partnership with the Jersey Off Road Bicycling Association, New York-New Jersey Trail Conference and King Trails Alliance.
