Police activity March 10th-March 12th:

On March 10th, 2023, a Raritan male juvenile was charged with Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer, Simple Assault and Resisting Arrest. The charges are a result of a family dispute that officers responded to on March 5th in which the juvenile assaulted the first responding officer on scene. The officer was evaluated at a local hospital for several lacerations and bite wounds. The officer was subsequently treated and released from the hospital. \

On March 10th, 2023 at 3:13 p.m., Niyee Jackson, 32, of Hillsborough, was arrested on several outstanding warrants following a pedestrian stop at the corner of Route 206 and East Somerset Street. Jackson was wanted on several Shoplifting warrants issued by the Hillsborough Township Municipal Court. Jackson was later transferred to the custody of the Hillsborough Police Department.

On March 11th, 2023 at 12:34 a.m., Jayson Wilkinson, 38, of Dunellen, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Second Street. Wilkinson was also charged with Failure to Turn Over a Controlled Dangerous Substance (Cocaine) and released pending a court appearance.

On March 12th, 2023 at 8:58 p.m., Lawrence Connors, 31, of Raritan, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Third Street. Connors was later released pending a court appearance.
