Travis Manion Foundation to Host Raritan/Bridgewater 9/11 Heroes Run on Saturday, September 14
Travis Manion Foundation (TMF), one of the nation’s leading veteran service organizations, will host the Raritan/Bridgewater 9/11 Heroes Run race this weekend. Sponsored nationally by USAA, the annual race series unites the nation to remember the lives lost on September 11th and in the wars since while honoring veterans, military service members, and first responders who serve our country and our communities.
Now in its 17th year, 9/11 Heroes Runs will take place in more than 90 locations, both in-person and virtually. Through the Travis Manion Foundation’s 9/11 Heroes Runs, communities come together to run, walk or ruck to honor the fallen and carry on the legacies of character, leadership, and service that they left behind. At its heart, the 9/11 Heroes Run is a personal commitment to never forget the heroes of that day.
Walk-up registration is available or participants can visit 911heroesrun.org/raritan to register.

About Travis Manion Foundation
Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) is a community-led by veterans and families of the fallen but open to all—that serves together and supports each other. In 2007, 1stLt Travis Manion (USMC) was killed in Iraq while saving his wounded teammates. Today, Travis' legacy lives on in the words he spoke before leaving for his final deployment, "If Not Me, Then Who..." Guided by this mantra, veterans and families of the fallen are empowered to become leaders in their communities, develop strong relationships, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. For more information on the Foundation visit www.travismanion.org.
