BRIDGEWATER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (December 2, 2024) — Black Friday is done, but the holiday fun has just begun at Bridgewater Commons, which will host special free events throughout December to help shoppers make new memories as they complete their holiday gift purchases.

Central New Jersey’s dominant retail center will host special Santa events for four-legged family members, Disney icons and some of the top music ensembles in the state throughout the month, promising a season of merriment and song.

“Bridgewater Commons is more than just a place to complete your gift list,” said Tom Kovacic, Director of Marketing and Business Development. “It’s the heart of our community, an entertainment core, and the place our guests want to be. These events will bring us together in wonderful ways.”

  • Pet Night with Santa — On Tuesday, December 3 and Thursday, December 5, the center will host the return of the beloved “Pet Night with Santa,” from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Cats and dogs on a leash or in a carrier (and their human parents) are invited to meet Santa and purchase a photo package. A percentage of the sales will benefit the Somerset Regional Animal Shelter.
  • Santa + Friends — On Saturday, December 7 and Saturday, December 14 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Santa’s famous holiday friends will join him for a free meet & greet, photos, story time and autographs! Meet Elsa and Anna of Disney’s “Frozen” on December 7 and Disney Princesses Belle and Cinderella on December 14.
  • New Jersey Youth Chorus Holiday Concert — Also on the agenda on December 7 is a special Holiday Concert by the New Jersey Youth Chorus from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Center Court. The young singers of the Chorus’ Primo Coro will brighten Santa’s Court and throughout the mall with carols and holiday songs. The New Jersey Youth Chorus, a program of Wharton Arts, is an auditioned program for children in grades 3 through 12. The Primo Coro serves girls in grades 3 through 5.
  • New Jersey National Guard Army Band Holiday Concert — The music continues on December 14, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m, and from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., when the New Jersey National Guard 63rd Army Band will perform concerts with holiday and patriotic music. The concert band is composed of 25 soldiers of varying instrumentation and will perform two different hour-long sets at Center Court on the Main and Lower Levels.
  • Hunterdon Academy of the Arts Holiday Music — Finish up your weekend holiday shopping with more song, as the Hunterdon Academy of the Arts — the largest performing arts school in the region, serving students from ages 4 and up — performs a Holiday Carol Medley on Saturday, December 21 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Center Court. Hunterdon Academy Voice and Theater Arts instructors Katelyn Hoover, Ilana Klein, and Susan Lento will perform an eclectic program of the most popular holiday songs of all time, from “Silent Night” to “All I Want for Christmas is You.”
