Jill Brochinsky, Somerset County 4-H Program Coordinator Receives 2025 RCE Award
From the 4H press - "Congratulations to Jill Brochinsky, Somerset County 4-H Program Coordinator, for receiving the 2025 RCE Award for Excellence! Jill’s passion and dedication to the Somerset County 4-H Cloverbud Program have made a remarkable impact. Under her leadership, membership in the program has grown by 2.5 times, from 68 youth in 2022 to 170 youth in 2024 – that’s 26% of the county’s total 4-H membership!
Jill’s innovative approach to working with K-3rd graders has created a fun, welcoming environment for young members and their families, fostering a love for 4-H that lasts well beyond the Cloverbud years. She’s also expanded her work to a County, State, and National level, sharing her success at the 2023 National Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals conference. Her commitment to “Making the Best Better” shines through in everything she does, and we are so proud to have her as part of the Somerset County 4-H community. This prestigious award is a well-deserved recognition of her outstanding contributions, and we’re excited to see her continued impact on the next generation of 4-H leaders."
