“I am honored to be joining this already inspiring team of leaders,” said Commissioner Graner. “I look forward to continuing their successes in creating leadership that allows residents to be seen, heard, and valued.”
Commissioner Graner will serve as liaison to Raritan Valley Community College, Somerset County Vocational and Technical Schools, and the Mental Health Board.
“Commissioner Graner will bring a fresh perspective to the County and her experience as a teacher will be an asset to the Board and to the residents of our County,” said Commissioner Director Shanel Y. Robinson.
Former Commissioner Douglas Singleterry was required to resign following his appointment to the state judiciary on Monday, June 2, 2025. Graner will fill the seat in an interim role and will be the Democratic nominee for the unexpired term in the November 2025 special election.
