A Raritan Resident and Hillsborough School Official Sentenced in $137K Overtime Scheme
A former Hillsborough Township Public Schools administrator has been sentenced in connection with an overtime‑related scheme investigated by federal authorities.
According to publicly released information from the U.S. Attorney’s Office and local reporting, Anthony DeLuca, 61, of Raritan, previously served as the district’s Director of Buildings and Grounds. Prosecutors stated that the case involved approximately $137,000 in improper overtime payments.
DeLuca entered a guilty plea during the federal investigation. Recent local coverage reports that he has now been sentenced to a term of probation.
