TRENTON, NJ — As New Jersey prepares for the June 2 Primary Election, state officials are emphasizing clear, accessible information to ensure every eligible voter can participate safely and confidently.

Lieutenant Governor Dr. Dale Caldwell, who oversees the New Jersey Division of Elections in his role as Secretary of State, highlighted the three convenient voting options available to residents. Full details for each can be found at VOTE.NJ.GOV.

Three Ways to Vote

  1. Vote at Your Polling Place on Primary Election Day
    Polls will be open Tuesday, June 2, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
    Accommodations will be available for voters with disabilities.
    Polling locations can be found at VOTE.NJ.GOV.
  2. In‑Person Early Voting: May 26–May 31
    All eligible voters may cast their ballot early at any designated early voting site in their county.
    • Tuesday–Saturday: 10 a.m.–8 p.m.
    • Sunday: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
      Early voting locations are listed at VOTE.NJ.GOV.
  3. Vote by Mail
    Registered voters may apply for a mail‑in ballot online or through their County Clerk.
    • Online application: Available at VOTE.NJ.GOV
    • In‑person application deadline: Monday, June 1, by 3 p.m. at the County Clerk’s Office

    Returning a Mail‑In Ballot:

    • Secure Ballot Drop Box: By 8 p.m. on June 2

    Note: Mail‑in ballots cannot be returned to polling places.
