Black Girls Code is pleased to share an opportunity for eligible students to participate in the Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals Fellowship, a curated 4-day workshop offered in partnership with Beyond Code Collective and IBM SkillsBuild.

This no-cost fellowship supports college and career readiness by giving students access to industry-recognized digital credentials from IBM. Fellows will learn about a range of AI-shaped career pathways across industries, explore ethical considerations in AI development, and learn about a range of AI-shaped career pathways across sectors.
This fellowship aims to provide invaluable foundational skills in areas shaping the future of work, including technology literacy, professional skills, and emerging career pathways.
The February cohort is designed for high school juniors and seniors
Through the fellowship, participants will:
- Earn an industry-recognized IBM SkillsBuild digital credential in AI Fundamentals
- Gain exposure to learning and career pathways in the technology field
- Receive a $500 stipend upon successful completion
